Renee,
Director

Renee oversees virtually all aspects of the practice as director at Buckhead Plastic Surgery. She coordinates all beauty events, business operations, public relations, and sales and marketing efforts. Impressed with Dr. Larsen’s passion, surgical skill, and bedside manner since she first stared working closely with him in 2007, Renee joined his practice in 2010. She’s made the most of her time here, influencing the expansion of the plastic surgery practice, LUX Med Spa, and Slim Studio through her dedication and leadership skills. Renee’s passion for helping patients remain youthful, while working alongside Dr. Larsen in a concierge-patient environment, is apparent to both co-workers and patients.

Janice,
Spa Director

Janice is a natural choice to be Director of LUX Med Spa: With a background that includes years in the cosmetic industry and working with plastic surgeons and dermatologists, Janice brings a unique blend of skills that benefit our spa patients. In addition to being the spa director, she is a medical aesthetician and laser practitioner who provides both skin care and body treatments at LUX. Janice finds the opportunity to create customized treatment plans for spa patients and help them achieve their aesthetic goals incredibly rewarding. Outside of work, Janice is a busy mom of 3 kids who tries to find the time to pursue her love of the outdoors, whether it’s kayaking, biking, or just being outside.

Courtney
Front Office Coordinator

Courtney is an Atlanta native and her role as the front office coordinator for LUX Med Spa is ideal her outgoing personality. One of the favorite parts of her job is building relationships with the patients who come to LUX. She also enjoys talking with them after their treatments to hear how great their experiences were at our practice. Courtney graduated from Georgia State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing. She started working for us in December 2015 and helps with coordinating the patient appointments and assists with our social media. When she’s not working, Courtney loves to go to brunch with her girlfriends and trying new restaurants around the city.

Tara
Registered Nurse

Tara is the friendly face that patients see just before they undergo cosmetic surgery. She comforts nervous patients and helps them feel at ease, and she also assists Dr. Larsen with onsite procedures. She provides postop care, sees patients for follow-up appointments, and consults with women who are considering breast reconstruction options. Tara joined our practice after earning her associate’s degree in Nursing from Georgia Perimeter College. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Health & Human Services from the State University of New York. Tara enjoys hiking the Chattahoochee River trails and camping in the north Georgia mountains.

Sonya
Registered Nurse, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master Cosmetic Injector

Sonya’s passionate about helping patients reach their aesthetic goals, both in her role assisting Dr. Larsen in surgery and also as one of our talented master injectors at Buckhead Plastic Surgery. Sonya has worked with Dr. Larsen in the aesthetics field since 1998 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Her expertise in aesthetics enables Sonya to use a range of injectables, such as BOTOX® Cosmetic and dermal fillers, to create the comprehensive facial rejuvenation that’s often called a “liquid facelift.” Her skill as an injector is one of the reasons so many patients return to Buckhead Plastic Surgery for cosmetic treatments.
