BreastTite
What is BreastTite?
BreastTite is a new procedure that is performed using radiofrequencies. Patients love this procedure because it is minimally-invasive and leaves behind no scars. BreastTite is used to reduce excess fatty tissue in the breast and tightens the skin. As a final result you will have less volume in your breasts and they will be firmer and tighter.
What is an overview of BodyTite/BreatTite?
BodyTite for breast lift and reduction or BreatTite utilizes Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction (RFAL) to remove fat deposits in the breasts while simultaneously tightening skin. BreatTite is performed as an outpatient procedure. Local anesthetic is applied to the area to be treated and ensures patients experience a painless procedure. Dr. Larsen will use a double pronged and hand-held RFAL device to administer treatment.
The lower prong consists of a small cannula while the top prong works as an electrode to deliver precision-placed high-frequency energy waves to the treatment site. The cannula is inserted into the fat cells of the breast through a small incision point while the top prong remains hovering over the surface of the skin. Radio wave energy, controlled by the base unit of the device, is directed between the two prongs, effectively and safely liquifying fat deposits below the skin. As the cannula works to suction liquified deposits away from the breasts, heat is administered which actively tightens skin as the procedure progresses.
This literal two pronged approach produces incredible results for removing fat and tightening skin, while also stimulating collagen and elastin production.
How does Breasttite work?
The BreastTite procedure is an alternative to a traditional breast lift, patients love it because there is no use of scalpels or scaring after the procedure. It also means that anesthesia is typically not used. However numbing or mild pain relief can be provided to the client if required.
During the procedure, radiofrequencies will be used to stimulate tissues that are found deep beneath the initial layer of skin. As the tissues are heated, your body will produce new collagen and elastin. Collagen provides skin with structure and the strength which contributes to a youthful look and helps your body to continue thriving. With the addition of new elastin, skin will start to tighten up again. It will also assist in the reduction of body fat.
After the procedure, you should be able to go right home. Dr. Larsen will give you specific instructions regarding the next few days, but in general it is recommended to avoid strenuous activity. Just plan on resting and relaxing at home.
Am I a good candidate for Breasttite?
Unfortunately like all cosmetic procedures, not everyone is a good candidate for BreastTite. Make sure to tell your doctor at your initial consultation about your past medical history. They will be able to tell you more about whether or not you should proceed with this treatment. Additional risks could arise if a patient has already had surgery on their breasts, cosmetic or otherwise. The best candidates for BreastTite are in good overall health, are not pregnant or breastfeeding, have maintained their weight for at least a year and have no history of breast surgeries in their past but would like to see smaller firmer lifted breasts.
What are the benefits of Breasttite?
Traditional breast reduction procedures are able to remove large amounts of tissue, leaving you with smaller breasts. BreastTite procedures provide this same benefit while also tightening the skin around the breasts. The radio frequency technology helps induce collagen and elastin production, leaving your breasts perkier than ever. Patients who receive traditional breast reductions can have the risk of sagging due to the skin not tightening following the procedure. This is especially common in older patients who are even more susceptible since their skin has less elasticity, resulting in increased sagging. But with BreatTite, you can enjoy the benefits of a traditional breast reduction plus added perk and minimal recovery time!
What is the recovery like, any side effects?
Unlike traditional breast reduction surgeries, BreastTite does not have an extended recovery period. In fact most patients fully recovere within a single week. (As opposed to 6 weeks with traditional breast surgery) The small incisions made by BreastTite are less-invasive, ensuring your body can quickly heal. In fact, most patients will only see a puncture mark following the procedure, and it is virtually unnoticeable and easy to cover up during this recovery period and typically heals with no scar left behind.
What are the treatment areas?
BreastTite is specific for the breasts, however we offer many body tightening surgeries if there are other areas you’d like to treat please call our office and schedule your free consultation. Our professional staff will help you determine which services are best for your personal goals.
When will I start to see results?
Many patients can see initial results immediatly after the procedure is completed. However for most patients it takes a few days to notice a difference. The most significant changes can be seen a full 6-12 weeks after the procedure is completed. Most patients have no need to return for a secondary procedure however some follow up visits can be scheduled to simply track the results and your healing process.
